The Bird and Wildlife Photo Festival is an annual event that brings together conservationist and wildlife photographers to share more about how they may convert wildlife and nature photography to conservation photography. The Bird and Wildlife Photo Festival  was hosted for the first time in Kenya in 2018 by TonyWild, a photo led platform that shares relevant knowledge related to nature and wildlife through photography. The festival marked two important dates in the conservation calendar, the Endangered Species Day (19th May) and the World Biodiversity Day (22nd May ) all celebrated in Nanyuki, a biodiversity rich area in Kenya.
