The Bird and Wildlife Photo Festival is an annual event that brings together conservationist and wildlife photographers to share more about how they may convert  wildlife and nature photography to conservation photography.

The Bird and Wildlife Photo Festival 2018 was hosted for the first time in Kenya by Tony Wild, a photo led platform that shares relevant knowledge related to nature and wildlife through photography. Being the year of birds, the festival marked two important dates in the conservation calendar, the Endangered Species day(19th May 2018) and the World Biodiversity Day(22nd May 2018) all celebrated in Nanyuki, a biodiversity rich area in Kenya
